2000.
Seeds of Something Special
Long before The Jojoba Company existed, the first crop of Wadi-Wadi Jojoba was planted on the family's Beresford farm in Yenda, NSW. Introduced by the Department of Agriculture and CSIRO for their resilience and adaptability, these seeds quietly marked the beginning of what would become a new era in natural, intelligent skincare.


2008.
The First Harvest
It takes eight full years for jojoba seeds to reach maturity! After nearly a decade of nurturing the plants, the family finally celebrated their first harvest. At the same time, co-founder Vicki Engsall was preparing for motherhood, which sparked a deeper awareness of what she was applying to her skin. Discovering that this extraordinary, skin-compatible ingredient was growing in her own backyard became a pivotal moment, one that shaped her personal philosophy and future business.



2009.
The Jojoba Company was Founded
Motivated by her experience and a desire to create skincare that was both safe and truly effective, Vicki co-founded The Jojoba Company. Her mission was clear: develop bioactive formulations that help the skin help itself, powered by nature, guided by science, and free from unnecessary or harmful additives.

2010.
Debut at the Beauty Expo
The brand launched its core range at the Australian Beauty Expo, showcasing its unique approach to natural skincare. This same year, The Jojoba Company’s products began selling in beauty salons and independent pharmacies across Australia, laying the groundwork for national growth.



2012.
A Cult Favourite is Born
The Ultimate Youth Potion was released and quickly gained loyal fans. Known for its natural, visible results, it remains one of the brand’s bestsellers to this day, a testament to its efficacy and appeal.

2016.
Taking the Story Abroad.
The company expanded internationally for the first time, entering the UK market and introducing its Australian-grown, jojoba-rich skincare to a broader global audience.



2017.
Joining the Priceline Family
The Jojoba Company entered Priceline stores nationwide, increasing accessibility to consumers seeking effective, clean skincare solutions backed by nature and results.

2019.
A New Look and Deeper Connection
With refreshed packaging and new product launches, the company opened its own direct-to-consumer online store, offering customers an authentic farm-to-face experience.



2020.
A Serum Reimagined
The brand’s Absolute Serum was reformulated into the Ultimate Serum, a refined, potent yet gentle age-supporting product designed for everyday skin renewal.

2021.
Precision Skincare for Eyes
The Transformative Eye Serum launched, formulated to address the delicate eye area using the restorative and anti-inflammatory properties of Wadi-Wadi Jojoba.

Expansion to South Korea
Later that year, the company expanded into South Korea, further building its global footprint and connecting with a growing market of informed, ingredient-conscious consumers.

2023.
Radiance in a Bottle
The Vitamin C Glow Potion made its debut, blending advanced antioxidant botanicals with farm-grown jojoba to energise and illuminate tired or uneven skin.

Welcome to North America
The Jojoba Company officially launched in the US, connecting with a new generation of consumers who value transparency, efficacy, and natural solutions that truly work.

2024.
Glow Every Day
With the launch of the Illuminating Range, the brand introduced a new collection designed to enhance glow and skin radiance, suitable for all skin types and daily use.



2025.
The Next Evolution in Targeted Care
This year saw the launch of the Neck & Décolletage Lifting Concentrate in March, a firming, science-backed formula developed for the areas that need extra attention and care.
